Started off as just a pet owner/hobbyist when my roommate Joe decided to get into snakes. I bought my first snake, a Striped Cal King about two years ago. He turned out to be more of a handful than I was ready for, so I ended up giving him to Joe and moved my attention to cornsnakes. My interest and involvement has since progressed into a small scale breeder. 2007 I had my first clutches - Sinaloan Milksnakes and Grayband Kingsnakes. 2008 should be the same with 2009 the "real" start of my breeding program as most of my cornsnakes will be ready at that time.

We are both active on Cornsnakes.com, Cornsnakesource.com, other snake forums and myspace.

Most colubrid species. Viewing and photographing snakes in their natural habitat. Breeding colubrid species - more and more every year!

Outside of reptiles I also enjoy reading - mainly action/adventure fiction. Favorite authors include Tim Dorsey, Clive Cussler, James Rollins, Matthew Reilly, Christopher Moore, Neil Gaiman, Douglas Preston, Lincoln Child, Steve Berry, and Dan Brown.
I am also an avid amateur photographer and participate in the photography forum DPChallenge.com. My photography is mainly flora and fauna, but with my traveling I also photograph anything else that catches my eye.

14.23 cornsnakes, 3.3 grayband kingsnakes, 1.1 transpecos ratsnakes, 1.1 sinaloan milksnakes, 0.1 western hognose

Beyond snakes we also have 0.3 dogs, 1.2 cats, 1.0 crested gecko, 0.1 east timor monitor and 4.7 rats.

Don't have too many left on my want list.
Would like to pick up a trio of San Luis Potosi Kingsnakes this year.
Eventually would also like to get my hands on some Solomon Island (Isabel) ground boas.

Thanks! Looks like I can make the Cleveland show! I'll be the one with a Steelers shirt on.

Hey Tom. Love the page - especially the music choices!

And I have to say "Go Steelers" too! I may live in Florida, but I am a huge Steelers fan!

Yeah, giant hoggies will get almost as large as gopher snake or something comparable.

Hey Vinny! Great to see you here my friend!! How is your season progressing?

Thank you :). I just found this site today... I like it.

The season has officially started! The first hatchling came out last Sunday night. How about you? Have you got all your pairings done?

What pipped first?

Only one confirmed pairing so far - graybands. Still working on the 2nd grayband pairing, plus I decided to give a few corns a shot this year.

Did you see the photos I posted on CS or the Source of your snakes from when we were out there?

The first clutch is from my Hypo het lav, stripe X Same. Not all of them have pipped yet... still crossing my fingers for that Hypo Lav Stripe. Lol.

That's cool... you have some awsome graybands. What corns did you pair up?

No... I haven't seen the pics. I'll have to go check them out. You and Joe take some of the best pics. Thanks for letting me know.

For corns - I paired up my female miami phase - Clementine (pics in my gallery) and my male Huddleston Miami - Casey.

I am also trying to pair up my charcoals that are both poss het for amel, blood and motley. Both from Carol as well.

Fingers crossed here too!!

Good luck with those poss hets.  I hope those work out for you.  I have some pairings like that too.  Surprise clutches.  Your Miamis should be really nice... I look forward to seeing them. :)
