Hello, I'm Derek. I love reptiles, wildlife and the great outdoors. I have been raising red-tail boas for ten yrs. I'm married and we have three beautiful kids a five yr old girl, 9yr old boy and a 19yr old girl. I'm a profesional carpenter by tade. Now I'm going to college for graphic enginering CAD design to learn more.
I also do custom wood work. I'm currently fileing to start my own buisnes to build and sell furniture and reptile enclosures. I will post the buisnes soon.

Nice collection, you can prode your boa to find the sex. There is a show in Havre de Grace tomarrow. there might be some good selections to mate with your boa
Thanks Derek. I've seen the probe technique and will have to leave that to the experts. From the looks of the tail I think I've got a female, but before I run out to find her/him a parter, I'll be sure to get her/him probed. I may be at Havre de Grace tomorrow. I'll keep an eye out for you (if you're going) and introduce myself.
I am not that old, I just put that there to demonstrate how easy it is to lie about your age. I am not in total agreement about displaying the age of every person, they can lie about it so why?
Any way, thanks in regards to my collection! Next week we get 2 eastern collard lizards in!
I love that Blue Moon. That is a rare site to see. We get some beautiful Moons in the sping and fall on the Chesapeak Bay. The kids and I just make a fire on the beach a couple of sticks and some marshmelowes, some chocholate and some gram crackers. To make some smoores catch some fish and watch the moon.

Yea the Chesapeake Bay has some beautiful Moon rises some get so red and orange and reflects off the water as its coming up.
