I'm a reptile rescuer with a dayjob in a Native American/souvenir store in Wrightwood, Ca. I was raised in Tombestone, Az (the town too tough to die--and too dead to know it! X3) and spent a few years in the southern US as well. I love the town I live in now and will be sorry to say goodbye to it as soon as college is over, but I'm ready to sink my teeth into my future carreer; field herptologist. I still have a long way to go, but I'm still excited!
MY COLLECTION
One amel. corn snake, two ball pythons, one Hermann's tortoise, two Savannah monitors, one Amazon tree boa and one California kingsnake. Newest additions: Two tiny red-eard sliders and a female red-tailed boa. The red-tail is the rescue in all the recent pics I've posted and the subject of one of my blogs.
MY WANT LIST
I'd like to have a dumerils boa and a Burmese python for educational events, a blood python because I just love the species, and a cherry red Amazon to breed with my Amazon.
MY HERPETOLOGICAL INTERESTS
I eat breathe and sleep reptiles. I run a reptile rescue in SoCal and I do educational events, conservation, wild/venomous and captive rescue, rehabillitation and relocation. I'm going for my doctorates in herpetology so I can do field research and contribute to the hurp community in that aspect. Also, I'm working to get rattlesnake roundups banned.
MY GENERAL INTERESTS
I'm also an artist, educational movie maker and writer, and want to do a tattoo apprenticeship in my spare time (haha). I'm the nerd from hell. I like anime and manga, D&D, video games and have very ecletic taste in music and literature.
