Approaching my Golden Wedding, 3 offspring in their 40s, enjoying retirement. Live in a peaceful outer suburb of a large city, close to beautiful countryside.
Keeping reptiles 38 years, one notable snake was a grey ratsnake which I hatched and it lived 27 years.
My wife tolerates the reptiles which are all in a small bedroom allocated to them alone.
I have a wildlife pond in the garden, well used by frogs toads and newts.
Snakes mainly but have kept and bred a few lizards such as beardies, cresties and ackies.
Still breeding leopard geckos.
Carpet pythons are my favourite reptiles.
MY GENERAL INTERESTS
Herpetology and music are main interests.
Modern jazz especially bebop, all classical apart from modern, folk and the gentler side of rock.
My special love is the late Sandy Denny, Britains finest folk singer/songwriter.
