My passion is corn snakes, which started about a year and a half ago. It really took off last fall, when I decided to not breed or show dogs any more. I always thought snakes were cool. As a little kid, my favorite toy was a 6' stuffed purple snake, which I dragged around everywhere and loved dearly. I had it up into my late teens, but then don't know what happened to it. I also had a big stuffed turtle floor pillow that I hung out on. I lived and breathed horses growing up, as well as Pekingese dogs (my grandma raised them).
I've had mice, rats, an anole, birds, etc.--SOME kind of pet. However, as an adult, I never got a snake because I thought I could only feed live mice--I didn't know about f/t. I couldn't imagine doing that to a mouse!
But our friend, Stephen Howard, changed that when we visited one evening to show us his corn snakes. I held Luna--and it was instant love! I can't believe he sold her to me! I also bought Hector the Hypo, as well as one of their hatchlings. I ended up selling the hatchling.
My interest is in high-end morphs; the more colorful and unusual, the better! I especially like neon pinks and corals, and yes, I want a PURPLE snake someday!
I hope you enjoy your visit to my little corner of our world!

Corn snakes are about it, although I might eventually get a Panther chameleon--they fascinate me!!

Married 23 years to a Swiss guy (Roland), two great kids ages 13 and 19.
Love Italian motorcycles (ride a '85 650 Cagiva Alazzurra), Pekingese (have been showing and breeding a number of years), computer games, travelling, good food, movies, music, sci-fi,handweaving, and, yes, anime and manga! Since son Karl, a sophomore at Clemson U., is in the Tiger marching band and pep band, I've learned to appreciate college football and basketball much more!
