My name is Miqe, a.k.a. "Morbid" or "MiqeMorbid" on the internet. I was born in June 1966 in Uppsala, Sweden.

I am happily married since 2001, and I have a daughter born 1988 and one born 2004. We all live in Knutby (Knotvillage) in Uppland, Sweden.

The interest for reptiles and amphibians was born in early years, but I had to wait until I moved to my own home before I could get any myself. I started to keep "herps" in 1986, and the first one was a Cornsnake.
The interest turned towards the European herpetofauna more and more, and a couple of fieldtrips to the Former Republic of Yugoslavia really set my focus on "Euroherps", and today all my animals are European. Or very close to Europe anyway..

I am currently keeping and enjoying:

Vipera ammodytes ammodytes
Vipera orlovi
Vipera nikolskii
Vipera dinniki
Vipera renardi
Gloydius halys caraganus

Zamenis situla
Elaphe quatuorlineata muenteri

Hyla arborea
Bufo calamita

Podarcis sicula (cettii)
Timon lepidus
Lacerta agilis agilis
Podarcis pityuensis kameriana

Different small European vipers and lacertids.

Europeans, europeans!!

Reptiles and amphibians, watercolourpainting, photography, drawing and bonsaitrees.
