College undergrad with aspirations of going to vet school and becoming an exotics veterinarian. Not too many animals because of lack of funds and space... but I'm always dreaming of getting more!

AKA icygirl on bp.net forums.

0.1 ball python (Caspie)
1.0 yellowbelly ball python (Luke)
1.0 motley sunglow corn snake (Jacob)

Irian Jaya carpet
Boa constrictor (someday)
Blue-tongued skink
Butter corn snake
Kenyan sand boa
Blood python

I'm mostly into snakes at the moment, but I like all herps and also inverts. I love learning about evolution and phylogeny, as it fascinates me how different species evolved. I like reading about tuatara because they're so damn mysterious.

One of my aspirations, besides becoming a vet, is to educate the public regarding herps. The more respect people learn to have for these animals, the more likely they are to want to preserve them for years to come.

Hey there, thanks for the add :) Oooh, southern NH, you are right near to NERD! I have visited the Zoo Creatures store once when I was in the area, but never done the tour of the "mysterious upstairs"... I will someday though.

Have you ever visited this store called "Sea World Pet Center"? I don't remember if it is in NH or MA but either way it is close to the border. My friend bought a really cool brown water python there, and you don't see those every day. It is an interesting store with lots of herps, if you haven't already you might want to look it up.

Hey Simm, yeah the NERD tour is awesome! I would definately recommend you check it out sometime. I have  been to Sea World Pet Center but not in a while. I believe that it is right in Salem NH so its just over the border from MA. I'll have to go down and check them out again sometime.

Later!
