First off, I want to thank everyone for the warm welcome to RG. I can forsee an enjoyable stay here and thought I'd start off with a blog! I was discussing my herps, like a good proud mommy, today while waiting in line at Trader Joe's. The person I was speaking with mentioned to me, with gusto, his pride in his wild caught green tree monitor. So this past February (of 2008), I purchased my first pair of dotted house snakes (L. maculatus). These little snakes are awesome! In my humble opinion, it's almost as if someone took the head shape, pattern and raw muscle power of a Children's python, gave it the body and personality of a cornsnake, and the feeding t...
