Cascade Mountain treefrog - Pseudacris regilla cascadae - known in field guides as Pacific Treefrog.Last night I stepped out on my porch and noticed this little guy climbing up the side of the door jam, towards the porch light that attracts bugs. After a few minutes I opened the door to go in again - and he climbed right to where he would be squished were I to close the door.So I use my finger to try and persuade him to climb elsewhere - and he climbs onto my finger as if it were a branch.
