Hello everyone. 
 I don’t even know where to start. Been so upset and pissed off. Let see I guess from the beginning.  By Dec of 2005 I already adopted 2 dogs that I rescue and owners where not found. At the end of DEC Bestfriends animal sanctuary couldn’t take anymore dogs or cats to Tyler town. It was at saint Francis animal sanctuary in Mississippi. It was over full with rescues. They set a transport truck every day to come pick up dogs and cats. So they came to New Orleans and started up a facility at an old celebration station. There they can get all the vet care and housing till they where located by the owners or sent to no kill centers across the U.S or to bestfriends animal sanctuary in Utah for adoption. 

While there most needed to be re socialized. So they would be readying to get adopted. There was one I got really attached to I called him my little Buddy. He was heart worm positive and in a further stage. Bestfriends was paying for his treatment. He had the coolest soft blues eyes. You all can guess what mix he is from the photos. After 2 months of working with him he was really to go up for adoption. I heard he was adopted out to a family in Montana. He still need treatment. The family that adopted him had to sell the house and had to rent. They could have pets so he was sent back to bestfriends. One of my friends there know my oldest Venus pass away from cancer and I had history with him. So I figured I would foster and later planned on adopting. While he was in my care his owner from Louisiana found him and I thought this was great. Buddy was from St Barnard’s parish just east of New Orleans. 

The main reason I was there 6 months doing the rescue work was for the animals and the owners. So I flow back to Louisiana with buddy. For the reunion, they seemed to be really nice and happy to have him back. Turns out his really name was Buster. I just found out they had Buster euthanized cause once they found out how much the vet bills where for the treatment. I know Bestfriends afford to help out and if they would of let me know I would of payed for it out of my own pocket. They could of let me know he was a great dog good with kids, cats, dogs, and all my other pets. Just sucks so much he survived the storm, the floods almost 4 months on his own and also in that area there where cops driving around just shooting dogs that where running around. There was video of them driving around in a jeep. 

Also being shipped all over the states. He had such a good home here. I really wanted to go back there and let them know exactly how I felt about this issue. But that wouldn’t bring him back. Rip Buster and will always miss ya.
