They think I have finally lost my mind

My friends and neighbors that is. I have been looking up the different frog calls of the local species and trying to figure out which ones we have right here in the neighborhood. And wandering around with a flashlight in the middle of the night trying to find the little buggers. Quite fascinating to me, but the neighbors think I am nuts, lol.

Well, not all of the neighbors know how many snakes I have. They probably would have run me out by now. I live in a bit of an uptight subdivision. I occasionally have one outside for picture taking or something and somehow they don't seem to notice. The guy who does work around the house walked right past me and was talking to me for almost 5 minutes before he noticed a 2500g ball around my shoulders and freaked out.


I am also the only mom in the neighborhood with anything pierced besides the ears, and who allows her kids to die their hair black, or pink, or blue (if they want to look like a smurf, they have that right). The frog thing is just solidifying my spot as the wierd lady of the neighborhood.


My friends and family do call me crazy snake lady and kid about what they will find someday when I die with a house full.
