Hello, my name is Galen and I am married with two kids still living at the house. I live in a German-found town called New Braunfels that is about 1/2 way between San Antonio and Austin. It's known as the Hill Country area of the state due to the terrain. (hence the business name)
I will begin my breeding in 2008 with at least 3-4 parings of corns for now. I really think the Okeetee is the best of all the corns but I am also a huge fan of "borders" that are bold/thick/wide in any snake. My main goal is to produce some lesser known, or hard to find, morphs while doing the projects totally from scratch (not purchasing anything from the outside)..... Also making anything different from the standard, that is not seen most everywhere else.
Most all of my forum activity is on cornsnakesource.com......very professional and some of the TOP people in the corn snake field. I also check out CS.com forum, Fauna forum and KS.com classifieds once a day or so.
MY COLLECTION
My snake totals fluctuate up and down quite a bit due to moving both new and old stock. Right now I currently own 6.7 corns:
Obviously, the morphs (new & old) that are out of my monetary reach. LOL
Metallic (Bairdi) Rats, Mexican Night Snakes, Mandarin Rats, Bamboo Rats, Mexicana species Kings
And a dream snake:
Diffused Motley Okeetee
MY GENERAL INTERESTS
80's Hair Metal, Golfing, Sports, Hunting & Fishing....Have been both a Steelers & Yankees fan for 25+ years.
MY WEBSITE(S)
I do not currently have a website yet, but I do have the naming rights purchased for HillCountryColubrids.com and hope to have it up by breeding season this year.
Galen, The game is slowly coming back! Had a 38 yesterday afternoon once the storms cleared out! How about you ? Benn to the range yet or are you busy at Jenna's wedding?
You asked about my king, unfortunately, I couldnt tell you much about him. I adopted him about 2 weeks ago from someone who had to move....They didnt know his phase or even what gender he is(I just call him a 'he). Either way, he's gorgeous!
