I seal them in a box when they sleep so the crix do not get them. Its much easier.

I thought I would explain so it does not sound so cruel.

When I can not seem to catch all the crix or there is a lot left over and they hide in the log and come out and chew on them at night. I let them go to sleep then put them in a box with plenty air holes and seal the lid. It keeps the crix from chewing on them and they never even knew.

I guess I can find a lazy way of doing anything
