Prolific reader with curiousity about many topics and ideas. bit of a poet and artist. Mother of a starving artist whose day job is in a grocery store. Spent my childhood as the neighborhood vet and rescuer of small birds, squirrels, caterpillars, butterflies and kittens. Our first childhood pets were turtles, which I barely remember, and were followed by cats, a dog, squirrels (young ones rescued from the cats!), chipmunks, guppies and goldfish, a pair of young possums, alligator lizards, western fence lizards, garter snakes, a western ringneck snake, caterpillars for Anise swallowtails and gulf fritillaries raised to butterflies and released, and an unfortunate batch of polliwogs.

Along the way, there have been another six cats, two lovebirds, four zebra finches, one gray cheeked parakeet, four mice, various fish and one more western fence lizard.

I currently have two cats, my dragons, and twelve koi! Here is Fibonacci, my first dragon, hard at work!

I am currently owned by 10 bearded dragons! Fibonacci, Kang, Nefertiti, Diver, Galileo, Gaia, Hob, Galadriel, Astarte and Seshat! They keep me busy! Nine are healthy, all are beautiful, but four are rescues, three recovered (and included in the nine healthy:) and one still recovering from severe MBD! I can't say enough about the necessity for education on the proper care, feeding and UVB LIGHTING for bearded dragons!

Although I can't add anyone else at this point, these are wishes!

BLACK Bearded Dragons! Not just beardies displaying black beards, I got those!!!!!
A red Iguana
Mali and Niger Uromastyx
Collared Lizards
Chinese Water Dragons
Frilled Lizard
possibly a little king, corn or garter snake.

A Rottweiler, Newfoundland, Wolfhound or mixed LARGE puppy to train to accompany me on walks in the hills!

Bearded Dragons!
Agamas, San Francisco Bay Area wildlife of all types, all lizards, all herps, the environment and most important, Education!

Music! and a few other things!

quote="lizardgrrl"]What kind of UVB bulb do you have him under? The reptisun 10.0 or reptiglo 8.0 fluorescent tubes or the Mercury vapor bulbs are GOOD, but ALL coil lamps, all ESU bulbs and a few other tube light are BAD, with incorrect UVB frequencies, and can damage their eyes

and prolonged exposure has killed some dragons. I hope this is not your problem, although correcting the bulbs quickly should start healing right away.
