Finally!!! i have pippies!! the eggs are on day 64 and my first baby of the year is out... a little male normal... the mother is Persia (Anery Poss het motley[now proven...2nd pippie is motley]) X Henry VIII (Normal hey Anery, amel, hypo, motley)the 2nd little body is hanging out, but still attached to its yolk is a motley normal. how exciting!!! the 3rd pippie... i cant tell yet... still hiding in the egg... i guess i'll have more by tomorrow :) and i'll keep everyone updated!!yay! i love this... First clutch of 2008 has pipped! As of right now, I have 5 out of 13 little noses sticking out at me. This was Lavender Motley x Blizzard...Not expecting anything but Normals with some fun hets to play with in the F2.

Final egg count

So the final count is *drumroll please*
12 decent sized eggs, 6 definite slugs, and one that's very questionable (rather indented and caved in). This is the most accurate count I could get. I couldn't get 4 of the slugs free, so those are gonna incubate until I figure out how to do that! Poor Pele looks EXHAUSTED and deflated. We're gonna get her a nice big mouse today as a little thank you present. A couple of the eggs are a little small, but they're still nice and white so we're just gonna... Read More
