I keep over 125 animals, mostly snakes. I am a member of a couple herp clubs and am in my first year of serious breeding. I am going to community college for my associates of science.

To darn many!

A buncha balls some boas and some colubrids along with a couple torties and some lizards and geckos and stuff. I got a couple cats and a few finches too.

I just lost my most favorite female hoggy to egg binding and that awesome one of a kind solomon to organ failure. Some times I wish I'd never started this hobby.

A pied ball (crossing fingers) and a female blizzard corn. preferably breeding size.

I want to know that I am doing the right thing by my animals. I fell like I have a hundred little heart aches waiting to happen and I wish just one of them could talk and tell me they were happy.

I am currently doing a research paper on the chytrid fungus and am doing some of my own research on animal behavior in captivity.

I finished the paper on the fungus, so if anyone is interested I will post it in a blog. Let me know people.

Herps, art and reading. One of these days I'll post some pics of my stuff...

Photo disclaimer; the burmese picture is not mine! I found it online and only put it here because I liked it and think it is cute. Don't want any toe stepping you know =)

hey thanks for the add! your collection looks amazing!

Thank you, your animals look great as well. Some times a
large collection isn't all it's craked up to be. Especially on feeding
day!

Haha! Yeah I bet, I am struggling a little with feeding all five of
mine. Thank god for frozen though! I am trying to get mine switched
over this summer because there are no stores that sell live feeders for
less than 2.50 where I will be going to school! YIKES!

I have many that eat frozen, mostly rabbits and guinea pigs though a few that will take frozen rats. Most of my smaller feeders wil take it too. It's usually the BP's that are stubborn but I do have a couple sand boas that will only take live. Try having a food bill over $350 a month! I can't imagine how many rodents theĀ  big time breeders go through, not to mention all the produce! I have planted a garden just for my herb/omni-vores! I do breed a few of my own rodents, mostly for the piks but man what a pain in the neck and since i have suppliers that only charge a buck a rat and .45 a mouse i'm good.

Wow that is a huge feeding bill! I cant even imagine! That must be why most big breeders also breed their own rodents.... but some dont! I think I heard somewhere that BHB pays like 12,000 every two weeks or something, I dont know the exact number but its alot!

Thanks, and yes we will be at the wilsonville show with a booth this time. We will have used supplies and some animals but I'm not sure what yet. We may end up sharing a booth with a friend, I've heard joel is out of tables

Maybe we will see you there!

Yeah, maybe!! That show does run out of booths really fast.. They need to have it take place in a bigger room lol. If you do get a booth, what will the name be? (or the name of your friend's) Do you think you will have used heaing supplies, like UTHs? I am definately looking for some.
