Sooo, I tested positive for lyme disease. Woohoo! So I will be on antibiotics for the next month, then I have to go get tested again. Sharon
Well, my bite is finally going away, even though it itches like crazy. I got a shot of antibiotics on Wednesday, and they want me to stay on them for about a month. I'm also going in tomorrow to draw blood for a Lyme Disease test. Hope its negative! Here's a pick of the rash at its worst: The flash washed it out a little, it was very red and purple. Sharon
So the other night I was just laying on the couch watching TV and minding my own business when I noticed a raw area on my back. I ment to check it, but I ended up falling asleep and forgetting about it. The next night I noticed it again and someone looked at it for me and said it looked like a spider bite. In the morning, I looked at it and it was a perfect bullseye pattern, red in the middle and getting lighter in two rings. It was about 6 inches across. As of today, it is completely red and about 12 in across. Went to the doctor and they don't really know what it is either. So I am now on Lyme Disease prevention antibiotics, just in case. Fun weekend! This is what it looks like as of about an hour ago. Thanks for reading! Sharon
