Yeah...I have 3 "normal" BP and to me they're gorgeous. Each one has it's own distinct pattern and personality. The boys are gentle as can be all the time and the female is nippy till you get her out then she's gentle as a kitten. You can never go wrong with the "classics".
Very true. Two of my favorites are "normal" corns and "Plain ole" black ratsnakes...lol I think it might be why I got into the Asains and South American stuff some, is because the "normal" stuff is so much different then what we are used to seeing all the time.
Nah...you won't get any hate mail from me...we're all entitled to our opinions and we like what we like. Me personally I don't care for albinos and pieds. I like patterns and colors. I do like the Mojave but it's not my fave. I want a Bumblebee and since I can't afford 1 I'll try to produce one with my lemon pastel and a spider when I get it.
Very cool, and oddly enough, there are some cool morphs in many different species of snakes, however, it's usually the "classic" colors and patterns that I like the most.
Well...that sucks. At least you went home with something. I got a beautiful male lemon pastel BP and am hoping to get a female spider BP in a month or so. Just trying to find one I like and can afford. Not to many breeders are willing to do payment plans...lol
I'm going to get some hate mail for this, but I only veiw a ball python as a maketable morph if I can see it clearly. Spiders, ablinos, pieds, stuff like that...yeah, I see the morph, I can justify the price. Black stripes, mojaves, yellow bellies, pastels...they are all just normals to me. :-P
As a vendor I wasn't eligible...:-P I was giving a ratsnake from a friend though!

It was Labor Day weekend. It was still a good show and I went home with alot of stuff. I won 2 prizes while I was there. A free 12" x 18" Zoo Med Setup and a free battery operated mister.
Way to go! I didn't get a chance to get around an pick anything up.
All I had to do was enter my name each day in the drawing at the front door that was sponsored by Zoo Med.
Well that show is the weekend before Labor Day...or the weekend closest to Labor Day, can't remember how it works right now, but that's why it fell where it did.

I saw your booth at the Raleigh show. Nice looking collection you had!!
Thanks! Turn out wasn't bad, but that mess with the parking lot out front and the dog trailers out back I think hurt attendance a bit. Glad you were able to get by and see us though!
That and alot of people had just gotten back from Daytona. Maybe they should have the show before Daytona next year...
