Finally after much stress involving OBGYNs...It was confirmed Monday that the little squid is a boy.

Have a DVD of the ultrasound too, but I need to find a converter so I can post it online.

So we're getting closer and closer to my due date...and I'm almost done painting the new reptile room and then it's on to the baby's room! I've already decided that if it's a boy the colors will be green/blue/brown and if it's a girl the colors will be green/pink/brown and we're going with a froggy theme. I was working on some artwork this morning for the invitations and nursery walls, and wanted to see what everyone else thought...

Does it say froggy & baby to you?

(the "Uh-Oh! I tooted!" speech bubble is just a joke - I wouldn't actually put that on the nursery wall)

The lily flower would change to pink if it's a girl (we find out on the 14th!)...And the art will be on a wall of either pink or blue depending upon if it's a boy or girl.

This clutch was a bit of a disappointment. I got up today and found one of the babies out and dead for unknown reasons. So I cut the remaining 3 good eggs (1 of the 5 had molded half way through incubation) to check to see if they were still alive. The 3 remaining are still alive and are now resting in the incubator for when they feel like coming out on their own.

First clutch of 2008 has pipped! As of right now, I have 5 out of 13 little noses sticking out at me. This was Lavender Motley x Blizzard...Not expecting anything but Normals with some fun hets to play with in the F2.
