While this isn't a reptile rescue, this is a fellow rescuer who has helped my brother with his little dog, Stella, and had two of Stella's siblings at his place when it completely burned. He sheltered cats, dogs and horses on his property, has helped MANY people with their animals, and is known as Catman. We don't know yet if either of Stella's siblings are the dogs lost in the fire, but he needs help to rebuild and care for his animals that escaped the flames. He was sheltering over a hundred animals at the time of the fire and only had a couple of minutes to get out, and get the animals he could out the doors of the buildings. His place was one of the first to burn. My understanding is 22 animals died, 4 cats are recovering from burns, and the others are either all right, or still missing, as some just ran for their lives.
